Corpus Delicti

The French post-punk outfit Corpus Delicti emerged from Nice in 1992, quickly carving out a dark, melodic legacy. Their seminal debut album, Twilight, arrived in 1993, establishing the band as a vital force in the gothic rock scene. Often compared to legends like Bauhaus and Christian Death, the record features the driving rhythms and commanding vocals that defined their early sound. While the band later explored industrial textures, Twilight remains a celebrated benchmark of the genre, recently finding new life through various reissues and vinyl pressings that continue to captivate listeners decades after its original release.
