Tom Waits

Released in September 1985, Rain Dogs stands as the definitive masterpiece by Tom Waits. This genre-defying blend of rock, jazz, and folk features the debut collaboration of guitarist Marc Ribot, who brings a gritty, cinematic texture to the record. Widely considered one of the greatest albums of all time, Rain Dogs captures Tom Waits at his most creatively fertile. It remains an essential, haunting exploration of urban alienation, cementing its status as a landmark in modern music history.
