Night In Athens
Metropolis
The Story
Night In Athens delivered a visceral jolt to the underground scene with the 2021 release of Metropolis. Emerging from the DIY London punk circuit, this project by Tina Boleti masterfully fuses dark electro, coldwave, and minimal synth into a protest-fueled sonic landscape. Featuring a notable collaboration with Underthinker on the track "Exarcheia," the album captures the raw intensity of antiauthoritarian gatherings. Following its initial digital debut, Metropolis saw a 2025 physical reissue on Wave Records, cementing its status as a foundational work that continues to influence the modern Greek alternative and electronic scenes.
